April Student Makeup Day The April Student Makeup Day is Friday, April 4. Any students still on the Flex list on Friday at 2:30 will be required to stay until 4:00, or until deficiencies are corrected, whichever comes first. State FFA participants should complete any deficiencies prior to leaving for Lincoln.
Dual Credit Registration for Summer/Fall 2025: All juniors will be registering for summer and/or fall dual credit classes during flex on Monday, April 7th in the cafeteria. All sophomores will be registering for summer and/or fall dual credit classes during flex on Wednesday, April 9th in the cafeteria. Students planning on taking any of these classes will need to attend: Advanced Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Composition, Personal Finance, Workplace Communication, Tech Math, College Algebra, and Calculus, Sociology, and/or Medical Terminology. **Make sure you can log into your My Apps ahead of time or you will not be able to register. 8-11 grade football players need to stop into Mr. Burki's and sign up for a concession stand shift for Monday April 7th. Additionally, any of your football parents that would be able to help would be appreciated.
Juniors and Seniors- check your igator email for this year's prom sign up. All juniors and seniors must fill out the form regardless if you are attending prom or not. Sign up by Friday, April 11th. If you have an outside date... please stop by the office to pick up an outside date form.
Junior and Sophomore FFA members that are considering applying to be an FFA Officer next year can find the officer application on canvas under the FFA Officer Application Module. Applications are due on Monday April 14th when you come to interviews that night. Officer duties are also listed on canvas.
Job Opportunity... The city of Wisner is looking for lifeguards for the Wisner pool this summer. Applicants must be at least 15 years old. Applications are available at the high school front office or the city office.
Volunteer Help Needed... Relay for Life needs volunteer help for their annual community fundraiser featuring Breakfast by the Waffleman. The fundraiser is Sunday, April 6th from 10:30 am to 2pm at the Nielsen Community Center in West Point. Workers are needed help to serve and clear tables for a two hour shift between 9am and 3pm. Summer Drivers Education Class is open... Stop by the front office for more information or to sign up and pick up a form. Drivers Education classes will start Monday, June 9th through Thursday, June 12th (four days) 7:30am to 12:30pm each day. Completed forms and payment are due back to the front office by Monday, May 1st.
