Attendance to Participate in Activities Reminder of current policies for participating and/or attending evening practices, events, activities, etc: Students must be in school before the end of 1st Period and Students must be in school all day. The only exceptions are "School Excused" absences with a note, i.e., if you are not in school, you cannot practice or play unless you have a doctor's note. Finally, if a student attends a morning practice, they must remain in school all day, or they are ineligible for the NEXT practice.

CHANGED! Student Council Meeting Due to scheduling conflicts, the first Student Council Meeting of the school year will now be Friday, August 21 at 7:30 AM in the Library. Attendance is mandatory (communicate if you cannot attend) - we will be planning Homecoming Week. If you have morning practice, you are excused for the beginning of the meeting but please arrive as soon as possible.

7th & 8th TeamMates... meet and greet with your mentor during FLEX TODAY, Tuesday, August 18th. Check in to flex class and then go to the cafeteria area. Snacks provided.

Cuming County College & Military Fair The Cuming County College and Military Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Nielsen Center in West Point. At 6:30 Education Quest will host an information session regarding the FAFSA and Financial Aid. This is a great opportunity to learn about multiple college options and financial aid, all in one place! See Ms. Caniglia if you have any questions.
IMPORTANT COMPUTER & CHARGER REMINDER! As we start the new school year, PLEASE CHECK YOUR COMPUTER AND CHARGER! Make sure the computer number and charger number MATCH. If your computer and charger do NOT match, you MUST notify Mrs. Kreikemeier immediately. Do not wait until computer check-in at the end of the year to mention it! Take a minute now to check your numbers and make sure everything matches. Once your computer and charger are checked out to you, they are YOUR responsibility. You are expected to keep track of your equipment and make sure you return the correct computer and charger at the end of the school year. If you return a different charger than the one assigned to you, you will be charged for a new charger. No excuses.
